CDL Class A Driver

*Class A Long Haul Driver - Spokane Valley*

Our team is growing, and we are currently looking for driven and independent Class A long haul Driver for our Spokane location. Maximum 2-3 nights away from home, home every weekend.
• • Responsibilities:* Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Perform and log daily truck and/or trailer inspections before departure and end of the day
• Document the freight's condition before departure and proof of delivery
• Log hours of service, distance driven, rest stop durations, all fuel, and expenses
• Communicate any delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to dispatch
• Load and unload materials
• Ensure load securement, including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices and inventorying loads
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Comply with Federal (FMCSA) and State (DOT) trucking rules and regulations
• • Qualifications:* Valid class A license and acceptable abstract
• Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience in the construction/roofing business is an asset
• Able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of federal and state laws that regulate the road freight transport industry
