As a Category Manager II, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies for a specific product category, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies based on thorough market analysis and consumer insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category plans with marketing, sales, and supply chain objectives
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage product assortments
Monitor and report on category performance, including sales, margins, and inventory levels
Drive promotional strategies and initiatives to enhance category visibility and sales
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements within the category management framework
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in category management or product management within the consumer goods sector
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights
Proven track record of successfully managing product categories and driving growth
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
