The Cardiac Monitoring Technician is responsible for observing and documenting heart rhythms, as well as continuously monitoring patients to prevent adverse events.
They play a vital role in providing high quality, efficient care to patients.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Job Summary:
Observes telemetry monitors, recognizes rhythm tracings, and proactively alerts caregivers to prevent adverse events.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, completion of dysrhythmia course preferred, and previous experience in a health care environment.
