PILOT
SpaceX is looking for an in-house Pilot in Command for our Gulfstream fleet. You will have the opportunity to fly both domestically and internationally from local airports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure aircraft ground servicing items such as fuel, oil, oxygen, etc. are monitored and accomplished according to standard operating procedures
Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
Complete passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation
Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefing methodology for briefings and to mitigate operational risks
Maintain a current first class medical certificate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
4,000+ hours total flight time
First class medical certificate
FAA type rating in GV
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Boeing 737 type rating
G650 type rating
500+ hours time in type
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Within 2-4 hour travel distance to AUS
Ability to work on an on-call basis
Current passport
Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
