You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties
  • You will supervise, direct, and provide technical guidance and managerial oversight to all Branch employees on specific tasks and job techniques.
  • You will develop, evaluate, and make improvements on effectiveness of administrative utilization work methods and procedures.
  • You will assign work and develop performance standards.
  • You will oversee the Command Mail Room ensuring that operations run effectively and efficiently to meet organizational goals and federal law requirements.
  • You will implement/maintain an official mail management program that trains and appoints personnel necessary in the performance of any work that deals with the official mail processes.
  • You will serve as the Command Leave Administrator for all military leave and such, enforcing and ensuring command written policies are held current.
  • You will coordinate and resolve leave issues, direct and guide personnel on leave usage and leave updates.
  • You will educate and provide pay and personnel matters to Military personnel ensuring latest policies such as personnel and transportation entitlements are followed.
Requirements Conditions of Employment

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635. 101.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current state driver's license.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and evaluating the effectiveness of administrative programs, policies, and procedures by recommending and resolving program issues within an organization.
