Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician specializing in Neurovascular Sonography to join our team on a 13-week contract basis in Santa Barbara, CA.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in performing transcranial doppler (TCD) using the Dolphin TCD System, with the ability to effectively monitor and interpret imaging results.
Responsibilities:
Perform neurovascular ultrasound examinations including transcranial doppler (TCD) using the Dolphin TCD System.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal imaging parameters to obtain high-quality images.
Monitor and interpret imaging results, providing preliminary findings for review by interpreting physicians.
Maintain patient records and adhere to departmental documentation protocols.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician, with specific experience in neurovascular sonography preferred.
Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Valid California state license as an Ultrasound Technician.
Proficiency in using the Dolphin TCD System and other relevant ultrasound equipment.
