Job ResponsibilitiesPerform technical review of corporate tax compliance engagement work papers and deliverables.
Projects may include calculation and preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension, and projectionsPrepare and perform technical review of global income tax provisionsProvide consultation on business transactions, and the related tax implications, consequences and treatmentCollaborate with technical matter specialists, as neededReview responses to and communicate with IRS and other regulatory and tax authorities' audits, notices and inquiries Manage larger and complex engagements and workflow of multiple clients and related deliverables to minimize risk and surprises, maximize engagement economics including budgets and billing, meet internal and external deadlinesLead people teams, mentor and identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment roles Technically train and develop less experienced individuals responsible for engagement management responsibilities, including managing budgets, scheduling and staffing, due date management and client relationsReview or conduct high level research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums to support conclusionsContinually build on technical expertise in taxation by attending continuing professional education courses or utilizing other training resource and develop tax specialty or area of expertiseKeep current with tax law changes and provide updates and training to the firm's tax practice members Pursue new business development, extended tax service and cross sell for existing clients RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related disciplineCPA or equivalent credentialMinimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experienceMinimum of 7 years in a managerial role involving clients and team membersAbility to sign tax returnsPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in TaxationArmanino is the brand name under which Armanino LLP, Armanino CPA LLP, and Armanino Advisory LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with law, regulations, and professional standards.

The compensation range for this position:
$191,600 - $259,200.
Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
