As a swimming instructor, you will impact people's lives while teaching them a valuable life skill.

Responsibilities:

Conduct classes

Teach students in and around pool, flexible hours and potentially some weekend hours.

Create a fun and gentle environment following current British Swim School methods, policies, and safety procedures as directed by the Aquatics Director

Attend staff meetings and ongoing trainings/coaching as requested by the Aquatics Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

+ Enthusiastic, assertive personality with strong relationship and customer service skills

+ Effectively communicate with children, customers, and staff at pool location

+ Disciplined.
Follows schedules, safety procedures, teaching methods, and all procedures of British Swim School

+ Ability to demonstrate and teach swim strokes appropriately and as trained.

Qualifications:

Lifeguard certification preferred.

CPR and First Aid certified.

Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable.
It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude.
The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
