NEW JOB OPENING FINANCIAL ANALYST IN LOS ANGELES, CA, USA

• Only qualified Financial Analyst candidates located within two hours of the Los Angeles, CA area will be considered due to the role requiring an onsite presence*

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Required Experience and Knowledge:
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, specifically fund accounting, and financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment
• Experience as a Senior or Lead Financial/Budget Analyst, with the ability to train and develop junior analysts
• Demonstrated experience in developing new financial reports, tracking and reporting on KPIs, budget/variance analysis (researching and explaining variances), and financial modeling (creating, building, and maintaining)
• Strong analytical ability to interpret and explain financial data
• Experience working collaboratively with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and external vendors

Required Technical Skills:
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including v-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs, and working with large linked files
• Familiarity with major financial ERPs, such as Infor Lawson
• Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts

Required Soft Skills:
• Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Proven ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines
• Capable of working independently under general direction
• A quick learner able to adapt to new processes or tools
