Essential Functions:

Prepare documentation for External Auditors.
Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CAO in running audits.
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CAO if necessary.
Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Perform general ledger accounting tasks such as recording month end accruals, cash reconciliations
Complete all state & federal tax reporting and payments working with our tax accountant

Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.

Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.

Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.

Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.

Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.

Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.

Issue timely and complete financial statements.

Fixed Asset Management; Includes understanding depreciation and amortization
Coordinate on the production of the annual budget and forecasts.

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field required.
3+ years of senior-level accounting experience
3+ years of supervisory experience.
Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.

Preferred education and experience:

CPA is highly preferred.
Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA.
Experience processing payroll.
Experience working in a Healthcare setting.

Salary: $ 72,000- $108,000

The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
