What you'll do:

Assists with processing purchase orders (verifying completeness and accuracy of orders
Participates in the vendor negotiation process that involves reviewing availability of products, on-time shipment deliveries, and works with vendors to resolve discrepancies
Update shipping schedule from overseas vendors on daily basis into ERP system
Monitor inbound shipments to prioritize urgent containers for communication to warehouse for priority loads
Other duties may be assigned

What you'll need:

BA/BS degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or related field preferred but not required
Well organized and detail oriented
1-2 years experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing and/or related professional experience
Strong work ethic
Import experience in dealing with overseas vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency and accuracy
Exceptional follow up skills
Microsoft Business Central experience a plus

Overall Computer Skills:
Proficient with MS Office applications is required. Intermediate (Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Excel)

Pay Data:

Salary Range - $28.00 to $33.00 an hour (non-exempt).

Position is onsite Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. Position does not offer relocation package. No remote work available for this position.
