Must-Have: Strong Neuro experience
• High acuity neuro population, cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gunshots, stroke, and STEMI center experience required.
• Must be able to handle motor vehicle accidents and orthopedic cases.
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center is preferred.
• Must be capable of handling STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, sepsis, and surgical cases.
• Willingness to float between like units, including PCU and ICU overflow.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
• Completion of non-billable modules, averaging 16 hours, is required pre-start and annually.
• Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.
• LA fire card within the last 30 days is required, non-reimbursable.
• All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state. Refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
