Beacon Hill's client, a West Coast law firm, is seeking a temp legal secretary. Interested candidates are encouraged to reply to this posting with an updated resume in Word format. Those selected for next steps in our process will be contacted by a recruiter. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hours: 9am to 5pm (preferred). Client may be open to part-time candidates as well.

Location: Remote

Duration: 1-2 months

Responsibilities:

Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and contracts.
File court documents electronically and manage case deadlines.
Maintain attorneys' calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Assist with billing processes, including time entry and invoice preparation.
Manage and organize case files, both physical and electronic.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of legal secretary experience, preferably in civil litigation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
Familiarity with e-filing procedures in state and federal courts.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
E-filing experience specific to California
