Exciting Paramedic Opportunities Available!

We are offering immediate hiring for Paramedics with a competitive starting wage of $29.60 per hour for 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment that primarily handles ALS 911 responses. This is a Full-Time only position!

Your Responsibilities as a Paramedic:

Assess each call situation effectively to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocols.
Utilize essential medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, CPR, and medications to deliver advanced patient care.
Utilize triage skills to ensure optimal response efficiency during emergency calls.
Deliver patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
Assist in lifting and moving patients to ensure they receive the best care possible.
Communicate with receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical patient information.
Take on leadership responsibilities for scene and unit management as needed.
Drive the ambulance and support map reading to minimize response times.
Maintain certifications and stay updated with required medical protocols.
Keep the ambulance clean, organized, and stocked for optimal response capability.
Document patient care activities and billing accurately for each emergency call.
Follow policies regarding response times and patient transport decisions.
Report any negative interactions with patients or customers to the on-duty supervisor or account manager.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and bystanders in various environments.
Observe and document any changes in patient condition.
Maintain communication with dispatch and EMS providers regarding patient status.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association, Health Care Provider - handwritten cards not acceptable).
Valid EMT State License.
Valid Driver's License.
Ambulance Driver's License.
Medical Examiner's Certification.
Driving record compliant with AMR Safety and Driving Policy (proof required upon conditional employment).
FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications.
ACLS Certification (American Heart Association, handwritten cards not acceptable).
PALS Certification (American Heart Association, handwritten cards not acceptable).
