Description
Under the general direction of the supervisor and reporting to the director, the Echo Technologist performs/is responsible for echocardiographic exams in accordance with hospital and departmental standards. Completes all phases of exams and assists with other Heart Institute procedures and patients as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an echocardiography ultrasound technology program.
Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Clinic experience.
2 years performing cardiac ultrasound in a clinic setting.
Electronic troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Performing neonate/pediatric echocardiograms.
