The Job

Contributes to the ongoing success of activities related to HEDIS data collection and reporting. Responsibilities include facilitating data collection, monitoring and maintaining timelines, training and project management.

You Will

Monitor HEDIS project progress and budget, providing weekly status updates to management.
Assist in onboarding of new temp employees.
Define, communicate, and track clear deadlines for the team in order to maintain overall timeliness.
Monitor incoming data to ensure it meets established criteria. Perform follow up to obtain or track down missing records and information with provider offices.
Work with vendors, auditors, and SCAN staff in other departments to ensure timely completion of HEDIS deliverables.
Communicate with the medical groups for medical record and other type of requests.
Play a role as the liaison of the data analyst team and clinical nurse team. Be able to communicate with both teams.
Conduct post-HEDIS analyses to assess barriers, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research and by attending educational and technological workshops. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
All other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
0-2 years of medical record collection experience.
Working knowledge of IP and OP medical records components.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Basic problem solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear and organized manner.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple projects with changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
