As the CFO of the business unit, the Finance Director will report directly to the General Manager (GM) and serve as a key confidant and advisor. The successful candidate will drive thought leadership and an agenda for profitable growth, prepare short and long-range financial projections and annual budgets, provide financial analysis and decision support for growth strategies, and ensure robust internal controls. This role is pivotal in recruiting and developing top talent to maintain a high-performing organization and is a prime candidate for succession to senior finance leadership positions within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

People & Organizational Development:

Build, develop, and maintain a highly engaged and high-performing team.
Prepare subordinates for positions of increasing responsibility.
Accurately assess organizational talent performance and potential.
Foster a continuous improvement mindset.

Business and Strategy:

Serve as a key member of the Business Unit Leadership team, providing thought leadership for strategic and tactical decisions.
Act as an impartial advisor and thought partner to the GM on financial issues, strategic choices, and growth opportunities.
Communicate business performance to the Group President and Vice President of Finance.

Financial Planning, Analysis, and Decision Support:

Lead the financial planning processes, developing high-quality business plans aligned with priorities and the macro environment.
Provide clear and concise drivers of business performance internally and to the enterprise.
Deliver quality analytics and insights to support key investment decisions.

Risk Management:

Assess risks within business plans and develop contingency plans to achieve targets.
Review, enhance, and develop company policies and procedures in coordination with corporate partners.
Recommend improvements to operating and internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
