We seek aPart Time Pharmacy Technician/ Delivery Driver to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours:
This is a part-time role, will be working 24 hours per week.
Will be working 3 x 8 hr shifts per week and must be available to work on Mondays, the other 2 days can be flexible to candidate's availability.

Monday - Friday, 8:
30am - 5pm

Primary Responsibilities:


Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
Other duties as assigned
Will receive training in filling CUBEX automated dispensing system for inpatient facility if technician is licensed
This role is for a pharmacy technician / delivery driver -will be making deliveries to facilities and patient residences; furthest distance can be up to 1 hour but most days, deliveries are 30 - 45 minutes away.
First half of the day will be spent making calls to set up deliveries, packaging and having them checked, and will then be delivering in the afternoon.
Will also be typing and ringing people up at the register when time allows

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California OR ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
6+ months of previous customer service experience
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:


National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Bilingual Spanish
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
