This allows us to offer inpatient, ARU & NICU positions in addition to our high performance outpatient Sports & Ortho facilities.
Position Overview:
Our beautiful 420 bed hospital in Lancaster CA is currently seeking a Licensed Behavorial Health Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Job Objective:
Provide occupational therapy services for inpatient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and update care plans as needed.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Assess cognitive, ADL, and motor skills.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Lead diverse therapy groups tailored to patient needs.
• Document assessments, progress, and updates per policies.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
• Participate in team meetings, rounds, and patient care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy; - Experience:
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; behavioral health preferred.
• Licensure:
Current CA OT license and BLS certification.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to regulations, and maintain professionalism.
