Overview:

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for our Summer 2025 intern program out of our Irvine, CA office. This is a paid position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2025 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Responsibilities:

Our Environmental Interns:

Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc.

Create and QA/QC tables

Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation

Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for clients

Field assistance with groundwater sampling, soil sampling, soil vapor sampling, ecological risk assessments etc.

Perform engineering calculations and design assistance for government, commercial, and industrial properties as needed

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License

Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Live in or ability to commute to Irvine, CA

Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, detail orientated person,

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Honest, fun, hard-working with a positive attitude and ready to learn and grow

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AutoCAD, gINT, and Google Earth is preferred but not required

HAZWOPER 40, OSHA 10, and First Aid/CPR certification preferred, but not required.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range:
