Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedTechnical Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of our radar product line. This role is critical to aligning cross-functional teams, meeting customer requirements, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget. The Technical Program Manager will collaborate closely with Business Development, Production, Customer, and Engineering teams to oversee program execution, manage budgets, and ensure all technical and contractual objectives are met. The TPM will report to the Director of Products and operate within the Product/Program Management Office (PMO).

Responsibilities:

Program Lifecycle Ownership :
Lead full program lifecycle, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.
Deep Understanding of Program Requirements :
Develop a comprehensive understanding of program requirements and maintain open communication with Business Development (BD) to ensure engineering efforts align with mission objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Coordinate efforts across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and BD for integrated execution.
Tools & Metrics :
Establish tools and performance metrics for planning, risk management, and seamless execution.
Customer Engagement:
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing needs to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Budget & Resource Management :
Oversee budget and resource allocation to meet project requirements efficiently.
Change Management :
Manage and document scope changes, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Work 4-5 days per week out of our office in Hawthorne, CA.
Travel up to 15% as needed to support program and customer objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. or higher in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
5+ years relevant industry experience, preferably in a fast-paced or dynamic environment
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Proven commercial or military experience working with radar, air defense, special forces, and/or electronic warfare systems
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
Preferred Requirements:
Advanced degree in a technical field
Prior systems engineering or software integration experience
Familiarity with DOD tactical operations and acquisitions processes
Knowledge of ITAR, government acquisition and reporting

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $170,000

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
