The CI Engineer will analyze and optimize manufacturing and industrial processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement process improvement initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of POM Wonderful.

This role will require onsite, 5 days a week, presence in the POM Wonderful headquarters in Del Rey, CA near Fresno.

Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing process, identify areas of improvements, and recommend solutions.
Monitor and analyze plant process metrics such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate, throughput to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies to meet or exceed production targets.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis by using PDCA and other Kaizen methods.
Provide training and guidance to production teams on new process, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
Be available to work after hours and weekends, as needed.
Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in manufacturing technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
Facilitate cross functional team meetings to communicate project milestones and timeline.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, controls or similar).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Able to use process simulation software and computer-aided design (AutoCAD) tools to create process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and ISO requirements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-function teams and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Experience with process automation and controls systems

Pay Range:
$85,000 - $95,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.
Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
