• Shift:* Night, 12.00 Hours
• Guaranteed Hours:* 36 per week
• Experience:* Minimum 2 years
• License:* Valid RN License
• Certifications:* BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must-Have:*
• Experience with Cerner
• Ability to interpret telemetry
• Ventilator proficiency
• IV insertion skills
• Familiarity with pacemakers (both epicardial and permanent)
• Experience with vasoactive medications, chest tubes, central lines, and drains
• *
• Work in a 30-bed step-down unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Care for adults and geriatric patients
• Handle top diagnoses/procedures such as ARDS, Sepsis, Neurosurgery, Stroke, Cardiac Surgery, Respiratory Failure, Multi-Organ Failure, MI, CHF, and Diabetes
• Perform special procedures including chest tube insertion, central line management, and drain care
• Titrate vasoactive drips: Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Cardine, Amiodarone
• Required to work every other weekend
• Float within skillset as needed
