FLSA: Non-exempt ( Base $45,000.00 to 50,000.00 plus commission potential, plus 90-day training guarantee)

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Portfolio Advisor leads the customer retention strategy while ensuring an extraordinary client experience. The Portfolio Advisor performs outreach, consults with customers about their current ownership or lease status, and reviews available options to trade in, purchase, or lease a new vehicle. Perform outreach to portfolio customers to explore potential trade-ins, lease options, and new vehicle options or to discuss their equity position.
Build rapport and nurture customer relationships through personalized communication channels, including phone calls, email, or messaging.
Schedule personalized consultation appointments with customers.
Conduct thorough evaluations of customers' current vehicles, including service histories, Carfax reports, and use of valuation tools, to determine vehicle value and upgrade options.
Guide customers through the vehicle selection process and financing/leasing options, facilitating a seamless transition to a new vehicle.
Thoroughly explain financing or leasing terms options and offer financial protection packages to enhance the ownership experience.
Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales/leasing process, delivering exceptional service and support.
Generate required documentation for the vehicle purchase/lease. Collaborate with sales, financial, and title teams to complete accurate transactions.
Maintain accurate records of appointments, client interactions, sales/lease activities, or protection package enrollments.
Continually maintain vehicle product knowledge.
Effectively manage a high volume of work.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Job Required Skills and Knowledge

Automotive sales experience required with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Knowledge of automotive finance, protection packages, and dealership operations is preferred.
Must be self-motivated with an ability to manage and organize time and activities.
Demonstrate high character and achieve high results.
Excellent process orientation and highly accountable for self and sales operations.
Superior customer service skills.
Maintain effective team member relations.
Ability to maintain emotional control in stressful situations.
Able to use/learn to use: dealer DMS system, Microsoft Office Products, Google Suite, and other software products as required.
Punctual and regular attendance.

Education, Experience and Certification

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to increase product knowledge continually should be evident.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must hold a current State of California sales license or have the ability to obtain a license.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional dealership environment.
The manager will determine scheduled shifts, with rotating shifts throughout the work week.
