Job Overview
We seek someone who types and discloses all necessary legal documents for our clients to sign at the time of sale and who sells automotive protection products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Generates additional gross profit in finance sales by selling approved aftermarket equipment, vehicle service contracts, optional debt cancellation agreements, and maintenance plans.
Generates additional gross profit in finance sales by converting a cash deal to finance or lease.
Adheres to the selling, administrative, and organizational processes mandated by the Sales Manager and General Manager.
Answers customer inquiries regarding contracts, DMV paperwork, and approved aftermarket equipment, vehicle service contracts, optional debt cancellation agreements, and maintenance plans.
Handles, executes, and records refund requests for customers cancelling finance products.
Maintains control of all paperwork until it is ready to be sent to the Business Office.
Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information.
Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
Provides customers with complete explanation of all deal paperwork, and answers any questions regarding the sale/sales paperwork.
Stays up-to-date on the costs and details of all products offered for sale.
Ensures collection of all sales-related fees.
Meets regularly with Sales Management and Business Office personnel to discuss accounts receivable schedules.
Handles dealer trade paperwork.
Manages the due bill schedule and ensures all due bill items are in trust with the service department.
Maintains an adequate and current supply of all required contracts and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals.
Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Maintains a clean and professional work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful Finance Specialist needs the product knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that customers look for today. Communication is extremely important in a business department as it contributes to teambuilding with sales and the General Office.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Experience as an automotive finance specialist or tenure as a top sale associate required
Proficiency in financial software is essential; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

State Sales License

Valid Driver's License

Must be insurable by Company Standards

PAY AND SCHEDULE

Rate of Pay is $8,000-$12,000+ per month

Base hourly plus commission ($16.50 per hour and 5% of reserve gross profit and 10-15% of finance product gross profit based on performance metrics)

Schedule is 9AM-7PM Friday-Tuesday
