Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our clients job site in Santa Clara, CA. As the Tool Install Construction Manager, you will be responsible for all on site construction activities, with the project manager's assistance, on projects ranging from $100k-$100M+. Construction managers have site staff reporting to them (superintendents, document control, safety, project engineering) and will need to lead and manage the team. Responsible for contractor management, labor management, safety oversite, client management, procurement assistance, and estimating assistance.

Role accountabilities:

Complies with legal requirements, safety and building codes.
Maintains site records:
daily filed reports, RFI's, observations.
Writes and reviews comprehensive scope of work.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists on submittals for large projects.
Assigns, schedules, and coordinates subcontractor activities.
Leads all construction meetings (owner's, contractor's, pull plans, schedules, design reviews).
Effectively manages and communicates change and controls costs.
Interfaces at a high level with clients and possesses strong negotiation skills.
Manages Arcadis staff on construction sites and mentors senior superintendents and construction managers.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Software Skills:
Deltek, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Microsoft Teams, Navigate 3D Model Reviewer, Microsoft Project, ConstructSecure
Certificates and Licenses:
OSHA 30, CSL License
Language Ability:
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
Mathematical Ability:
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.

Salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
