As a Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our payroll processes are executed accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

Payroll Processing:
Ensure accurate and timely updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
Record Keeping:
Prepare and maintain precise records and reports of payroll transactions.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Audit Support:
Facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation.
System Improvements:
Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
Data Management:
Enter, maintain, and process payroll information, including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, time worked, paid leave, deductions, withholdings, address changes, and more.
Benefits Coordination:
Handle daily benefits processing, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing.
Plan Audits:
Perform plan audits, prepare and organize data for actuarial assessments, and review data with actuarial evaluation task forces.
Reporting:
Provide necessary reports to senior management and the finance department, ensuring data accuracy within the payroll system.
Benefits Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance of employee benefits files, update the group benefits database, and keep employee payroll records current.
Customer Service:
Offer support to internal and external customers, and collaborate with brokers and the engagement team to develop communication tools for the benefits package.
File Management:
Manage personnel files, both physical and digital, within our HR systems.
Data Reporting:
Prepare reports on employee data.
Additional Support:
Assist with 401(k) and Worker's Compensation administration and audits, as well as other general HR and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

HR and Payroll Systems Expertise:
Proficient in HR and payroll systems. ADP Workforce Now and ADP Benefits Administration preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Well-versed in federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements affecting payroll and employee benefits programs, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, Social Security, and DOL requirements.
Organizational Skills:
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical abilities with a thorough understanding of plan designs.
Project Management:
Effective in planning and prioritizing, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet deadlines.
Customer Service:
Exceptional customer service skills.
Integrity:
High integrity with the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Team Player:
Enthusiastic and collaborative team player.
Education:
Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience:
At least three to five years of relevant experience in employee benefits and payroll administration.

Salary Range $85,000 - $95,000
