This role is critical in driving our pricing strategy and optimizing trade operations to maximize revenue, profitability, market share, and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing strategies, revenue/profitability management, trade/trade systems/software, and data analytics. This high performing leader will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The position will have pricing responsibility for the North American National Accounts, Foodservice Distribution, and Retail businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities

:

Develop and implement strategic pricing models and frameworks to optimize decision making and enhance profitability.
Adoption of best practices, advanced analytics, and technology solutions to enhance our pricing capabilities from strategy through execution, governance, and reporting.
Elevate pricing capabilities and help solve critical business challenges to drive revenue and increase our strategic management of price across the organization.
Modernize the current pricing practices and governance, increasing transparency through the development of key performance indicators and metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing practices and improve price realization.
Utilization of data raw material inputs, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to inform pricing strategies and identify pricing actions necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Cost Accounting and Procurement on rolling 12-month forecast, key cost driver/raw material chances, key customer initiatives, sku rationalization and commercialization financial stakeholder.
Leads strategy and approach on Vistex trade system. Oversee the development and execution of trade optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of trade spend in both Foodservice and Retail.
Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing and trade strategies.
Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring for a high performing team of pricing and trade analysts and managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Leadership and vision on key initiatives and projects delivering revenue growth to C.H. Guenther,
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pricing and trade and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new pricing processes and tools across the organization.
Analysis of promotion spending to ensure ROI delivery.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience in strategic pricing or cost/financial analysis, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient use of a computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to support customer and internal projects.
Strong financial acumen and excel skills, adept at understanding and interpreting P&L metrics.
Experience in the CPG/Foodservice.
Knowledge of pricing software and tools.
SAP knowledge is beneficial.
Prioritized approach to support customer and internal projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities


Manage multiple direct reports including but not limited to: Sr. Managers, Managers, Analyst.
Work requires supervising and monitoring work performance of direct reports including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as needed.
Develop functional responsibilities of individuals that report to this position and ensure that best in-class output is created.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

Typical work in an office environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel on an as-needed basis, which may vary depending on business requirements.
