Job Summary:
A Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading business development initiatives, developing growth strategies, and building relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and telecommunications industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and customer needs.
Evaluate market potential, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to inform business development strategies.
Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and customer segments for business growth.
New Business Development:
Prospect and qualify leads, develop sales pipelines, and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to promote our products and services.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to showcase our value proposition and win new business.
Relationship Management and Account Development:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Understand client needs, challenges, and goals, and proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations, and coordinate with internal teams to address client needs.
Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, partners, and vendors to secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
Prepare and review sales contracts, proposals, and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Facilitate contract signings and ensure smooth transition of new accounts to the appropriate internal teams for implementation and delivery.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development initiatives with company goals and objectives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, delivery of solutions, and fulfillment of client expectations.
Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, and/or equivalent related experience.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or related role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
Proven track record of success in identifying and closing new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, and solutions, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools for lead management and pipeline tracking.
