JOB SUMMARY:
The Dedicated Sales Manager - Food Grade Tanker will be an independent contributor sales role responsible for driving revenue, developing a strong customer base, and hitting growth goals for our new Food Grade Tanker transportation services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
General:
Develop key customer base driving new business, implement sales strategies for the Food Grade Tanker services.
Oversee the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and address any customer issues.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Stevens Transport's Food Grade Tanker services.
Team Management:
Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the supporting team.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and address any concerns.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sales activities.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and team metrics.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in Food Grade Tanker Sales
Strong knowledge of sales principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong relationships with leading food grade tanker customers
Proven experience (7+ years) in the Food Grade Tanker sales.
Extensive operational knowledge of food grade tanker transportation services.

Work Experience:
7+ years of experience in sales, within the transportation or logistics industry.
Experience in the Food Grade Tanker sales within the transportation industry is required.
