Senior Retail Site Accountant

In this role You will:

• Reconciliation of assigned Balance Sheet Accounts, investigation of any issues

• Raise documentation for manual journal entries and accruals

• Keep in close contact with GBS teams and technical Support, to ensure complete Drystock accounting

• Act as a focal point within the team providing guidance and support to other team members, assisting in the resolution of queries

• Support the Team Lead in Month End Close coordination and stand-in on weekly/monthly reviewes with Business and GBS Management

• Support the Accounting Manager with any queries and initiatives related to GL/accounting activities Assist the Retail business with handling Finance-related queries

• Demonstrate deep understanding of specific key account customers, processes/systems, and act as an escalation point of contact for any verbal or written form of inquiries from external and internal partners and third parties.

• Build and develop strong business relationships with relevant partners and business partners.

• Plan, implement and support operational optimization, continuous improvement, and business excellence-oriented projects and initiatives.

• Participate in Customer Service and Business-driven projects by providing process input to project management ensuring that outcomes meet operational capability.

What You need to be successful:

• Relevant degree / certification or equivalent experience

• 3+ years relevant GL Accounting experience

• Fluency in English, German language is an advantage

• High analytical skills and proficiency in Excel

• Accounting studies and relevant experience, preferrably in SAP system

• Ability to adapt to changing requirements

• Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize multiple task

• Experience in a Business Service Center environment is good to have.

• Good stakeholder management skills
