The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing genuine care of Helping Hand clients, maintaining genuine mentorship of the RBTs/BTs, aligning with state regulations, law and HH's mission and policies.
Ensuring "Best Place to Work" for all team members by monitoring and supporting them through guidance and the HH philosophy.
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for providing behavior services to students and clients within Helping Hand programs and to provide leadership and supervision of the Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs).SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
On-site position, weekdays, 40 hours per weekSalary range $71,000-$77,000/year (Exempt).

Review incident/physical restraint reports, make recommendations, identify trends and sign-off as required.Conduct behavior analytic meetings and supervisions 2x per month with RBTs/BTs or as required.Serve as a member of the Human Rights Committee and Behavior Management Committee.Conduct assessments such as the Functional Behavior Assessment and Preference Assessment as necessary and within established timeframes.Create, update, communicate, train, and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Behavioral
behavior graphs for progress reports and complete meetings with parents/guardians on a quarterly basis.Choose appropriate data collection methods for behavior programming and provide consultation and assistance in academic programming.Compile and analyze behavioral data and report to supervisor.Maintain billable goals set by Associate Director.Review all new BIPs and revisions to current BIPs and provide appropriate feedback.Assist in classrooms and treatment rooms as needed.Provide appropriate training for the team, including PCM guidance.Facilitate consistency between classroom and treatment rooms in behavioral procedures and
a work session for each child/client weekly and be familiar with student IEP/client PP goals and objectives.Attend IEP and/or IDT meetings as necessary or assigned.Work closely with the Director and Associate Director team regarding policies and procedures required by DHS and/or the Board of Education and the student's home school as necessary.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsLAND THIS OPPORTUNITY BY HAVING:
Education:
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Graduate degree from an accredited University with coursework in behavior analysis.Experience:
At least 1 year experience working with children and adults as a behavior analyst or registered behavior technician.Experience with autism spectrum disorders and other diagnosis (i.e., intellectual disability, developmental delay, etc.)Skill Sets:
Able to conduct and interpret assessments via team and individual
to work as part of a team as well as independently.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Sound organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple urgencies as required.Present interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ongoing personal motor vehicle insurance.Must be able to maintain student and client confidentiality.Ability to promote and adhere to company values.A commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.Ability to fulfill all necessary training requirements of the agency, including but not limited to crisis management (crisis management training includes de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques).WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to sit, stand, and move around the workplace for extended periods of time.
Capability to lift and assist students/clients with physical needs, which may require moderate physical exertion.
The ability to observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer).
This position requires team members to work with people who may become physically aggressive; must be comfortable working in periods of crisis and feel comfortable de-escalating individually or as part of a team.
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to change throughout the shift.
Must be able to follow Helping Hand procedures during emergency situations and provide safety and security of individuals along with Helping Hand property.
Consistently position self to maintain files in file cabinets or assist clients/students.
