Billing Specialist / Project Accountant

H2M architects engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, seeks a Billing Specialist / Project Accountant to support our growing team. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Project Accounting, this position is responsible for project set-up and maintenance, timely and accurate billing and daily financial assistance to designated business groups.
Job Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate billing for designated projects
Provide day-to-day general financial assistance for business groups
Set up and maintain projects in BST accounting system
Review proposal and contracts to ensure proper billing procedures; providing guidance and follow up as needed
Review of timesheets and expense reports
Perform other like duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline
Must have prior accounting/finance, customer service and/or related experience
Prior experience with BST Enterprise preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Excellent planning and organization skills
Problem analysis, judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Adobe Professional preferred
