AR Supervisor - Billing & Reimbursement
Overview:
As the Supervisor of Billing & Reimbursement, you'll lead our team of Billing & Reimbursement Specialists to ensure timely, accurate insurance billing, collection, and compliance.
You'll leverage your experience in managing insurance claims, providing mentorship, resolving complex billing issues, and upholding HIPAA and compliance standards.
This is a key role within our organization that requires high attention to detail and a proactive approach to driving efficiencies within the billing team.
Responsibilities :
Oversee daily activities of the Billing and Reimbursement Team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
Oversee the accurate and efficient billing and collection of insurance payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Provide support on complex billing issues, including secondary and tertiary claims.
Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers.
Conduct weekly and monthly audits to ensure adherence to billing policies, timely and accurate submissions, and timely payment receipts.
Actively partner with internal departments to achieve department goals and streamline processes.
Take initiative on projects, effectively delegate tasks, and support strategic initiatives to enhance team performance and billing and reimbursement operations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Management strongly preferred.
5+ years in billing and reimbursement, insurance collections, or similar roles; 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in dialysis and/or healthcare environments preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated customer service skills, team collaboration, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
