Orthodontic Treatment Specialist

to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will engage with patients seeking orthodontic care, providing them with vital information about their treatment plans and associated costs. Your goal will be to educate, inform, and ensure a positive patient experience as you support our commitment to excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:
Present and explain orthodontic treatment plans and cost estimates effectively.
Discuss the orthodontist's treatment plan thoroughly with patients after clinical review.
Track collections and monitor payments, ensuring timely follow-ups with patients.
Clearly explain and promote adherence to company payment policies.
Achieve high treatment acceptance rates by educating patients on costs, insurance coverage, and financing options.
Solicit and track referrals from satisfied patients after treatment.
Contact patients or their guarantors to confirm appointments and discuss any fees due efficiently.
Uphold integrity by adhering to all regulations and compliance standards.
Assist the orthodontist with any additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in a dental practice is essential.
CPR/BLS certification is required.
3+ years of customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray certification is preferred as per state regulations.
Strong knowledge of orthodontics and treatment planning is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
Ability to articulate orthodontic techniques, treatment plans, and CDT codes is a plus.
Familiarity with dental insurances, service limits, PPO plans, and financing options is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is strongly preferred.
Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.
Additional relevant certifications may be required based on local regulations.
