Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat children suspected of experiencing abuse or neglect.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to affected children and their families.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments.
Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as needed.
Participate in educational initiatives and training on child abuse prevention and recognition.
Qualifications:
Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Child Abuse Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency.
Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship.
Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license at the time of employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
