Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? La Paz Regional Hospital & Clinics is looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
In the Urgent Care, responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling.
Works under direct supervision of a physician following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice.
May be required to work at other Hospital-Owned Clinics or main Hospital as needed.
Regulatory Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program.
National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligible.
Certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment.
Current BCLS Certification.
Current ACLS Certification and PALS within 6 months of hire date.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Able to perform minor office surgeries, apply casts and splints, suture lacerations.
