Emery Jensen Distribution, a subsidiary of Ace Hardware Corporation, specializes in selling and distributing hardline products to independent retailers. We are currently seeking a Territory Manager who will focus on expanding profitable sales among existing and new Emery Jensen customers.

The Territory Manager will implement effective sales strategies to increase warehouse orders, convention sales, drop-ship programs, and other promotional initiatives. This role will require you to analyze prospects and customers to tailor strategies that align with their needs while achieving our distribution objectives. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding new Hardware, Pro/Lumber, and Paint Retailers, acting as the primary liaison between the customer and Emery Jensen Distribution.

Your Responsibilities:

Achieve annual sales and profit targets by developing a strategic sales plan that attracts new and existing retailers.
Represent Emery Jensen Distribution professionally and ethically in all interactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to enhance business growth.
Organize and prioritize weekly sales calls to effectively meet company goals.
Communicate successes and challenges with the leadership team for support in meeting objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
Share ideas and sales successes with team members to achieve collective goals.
Exercise sound judgment regarding expenses, including travel and entertainment.

What You Need to Succeed:

Demonstrated success in sales.
Self-motivated, results-oriented individual focused on customer solutions.
Preferred 5 years of Business to Business sales experience; hardware and retail sales experience is a plus.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong strategic thinking abilities and implementation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips.
Valid driver's license required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
