Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills
- Average daily census of 25 patients - First-time applicants accepted - Required to work every other weekend (Fri/Sat for night shift, Sat/Sun for day shift) - Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units (MS/Cardiac) - Open to accommodating block schedule; schedule requests should be discussed with the manager - accepted local candidates - Required work setting experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Cardiac Telemetry - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - On the unit and remote telemetry monitoring - Use of Rapid Response Teams - Cardiovascular case skills required for post-cardiac angiogram, post-MI, pre/post-cardiac cath, and TR Band - Endocrine/metabolic case skills for IV insulin protocols - IV therapy/phlebotomy skills for blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs - Medication skills for heparin protocols, management of cardiac drips without titration, and titration of cardiac drips - Respiratory case skills including chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), external CPAP/BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management - Professional skills in isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management - Hospital type:
Acute Care Hospital, Level I trauma center, Magnet facility - Charting experience required:
