RequirementsPosition Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and SPD Manager, the Surgical Technologist (ST)is a staff member that possesses knowledge in the application of sterile and aseptic technique and has a good working understanding of the functioning of instruments and all equipment utilized in the operating room and central sterile. The ST utilizes knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, surgical instrumentation and technology as a member of the surgical team. The ST will scrub a variety of surgical specialties, as necessary, to provide care to surgical patients.
