WebMethods Integration Developer Lead in Phoenix, AZ (Onsite). This position requires visa-independent candidates only.

Summary:
The client is looking for a Service Lead WebMethods/GXS who has a strong background in application support and integration within the ASM (Application Service Management) framework. The key focus is on managing and maintaining critical applications and ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations. Service Lead who can provide technical leadership in WebMethods/GXS integration and manage service operations while ensuring security and compliance . The candidate must have a strong technical foundation, especially in API management, integration, and security, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, document, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Application Support :
Lead service operations including incident, configuration, change, and release management.
Provide application support, especially for WebMethods and API Gateway-related issues, and document resolutions via SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Technical Expertise :
API Gateways : Expertise in managing and configuring API gateways, including features like SOAP to REST transformations , policy enforcement, and message transformation.
Integration & WebMethods : Strong proficiency in WebMethods Integration Server , managing APIs (SOAP, REST, WebSocket), routing policies, and load balancing.
Security & Governance : Solid understanding of API security practices, including OAuth2, API keys , and access control mechanisms. Ability to protect against threats and malicious attacks.
Programming and Tools :
Proficient in Java and shell scripting (Linux).
Familiarity with tools like SOAP UI and SQL Developer .
Knowledge of networking protocols ( TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, AS2 ), and security protocols.
Desired Skills :
Proficient in troubleshooting complex integration, APIs, and gateway component issues .
Excellent documentation skills to create SOPs and troubleshoot integration issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with developers, architects, and stakeholders.
Experience with RDBMS systems like Oracle or SQL Server for data integration and storage.
CI/CD knowledge for deployment and continuous integration.
Additional Skills (Good to Have) :
Experience with APIGEE, Java, Kafka is a plus.
Understanding of WebMethods integration with mainframe systems, Salesforce, or Google Cloud .
Key Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of WebMethods and API Gateway .
Experience in integration technologies , API security , and governance .
Ability to lead application support operations and ensure the security of the WebMethods/GXS environment.
