Starting Rate of pay:
Depending upon education and experience.
Shift Premium:
Nightshift - $1.50/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot electrical devices in operation. Dismantles and examines devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairs or replaces defective parts.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
Must be able to draw out PLC/Electrical circuits.
Research supplies, parts, and machines needed to complete work orders.
Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Follows applicable ISO, Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing any procedure.
Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
Maintain PLC systems by ensuring backups of all programs are available and spare parts are available for the existing systems.

Education and Experience Requirements:

2-year Technical Degree or Certification in Electronics or Automation/Programming functions preferred.
Must have proven knowledge of industrial electrical, including advanced electrical (three phase 460 volt and higher) design, sizing of components and installations, etc.
Must have proven knowledge of electrical components troubleshooting and repair.
Must have proven knowledge of electrical systems including motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, etc.
Must be able to read, communicate, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, equipment files, etc. Ability to communicate effectively in writing form through letters and email. Ability to do research on the Internet or company Intranet.
Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.)
