Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages, with a particular focus on pediatrics. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with speech-related challenges.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each patient.
Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support patient progress.
Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays in communication.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Educate patients and families about speech disorders and strategies for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech pathology.
Experience
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Pathologist.
Experience in a school setting or pediatric environment is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques is essential.
Familiarity with early intervention strategies and best practices in speech therapy is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
