SEE is Hiring! We have an immediate need for an Automation Engineer in SEE's world's largest facility located a few miles from downtown Greenville, SC.

What will you do:
Develop innovative solutions to support SEE Simpsonville's Extrusion, Printing, and/or Converting processes
Seek and implement automated solutions that generate safety improvements, quality improvements, and cost savings with minimal operator intervention
Design, develop, install, and transition new automated solutions
Lead modifications to existing processes to reduce operator touch points
Ensure automation solutions are robust and operate consistently with minimal manual intervention
Work directly with corporate global engineering team; plant engineers, maintenance, and operations teams
This position is heavily focused on manufacturing operations and processing equipment

Qualifications
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree or higherin Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
5+ years of related experience
Strong PLC programming skills
A results driven attitude and innovative mindset
Project management experience
Hands-on approach to project management and manufacturing processes
Experience in varied manufacturing processes. Extrusion or other continuous process experience is beneficial
Experience with process data historians
Ability to use statistical techniques and interpret statistical data
Successful management of projects and processes involving multiple manufacturing areas
A high degree of scientific, engineering, and technological expertise
