We're seeking a full-time Associate Director of Mergers and Acquisitions to join our team. This role is instrumental in advancing the company's growth strategy and profitability by spearheading investments in global telecom and digital infrastructure. This role involves financial modeling, analyzing investment opportunities, strategizing transactions, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and presenting investment propositions to both external and internal stakeholders.
This role is REMOTE - based on the East Coast. Bilingual proficiency a Plus (English & Spanish)
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day execution of all M&A processes, including analyzing presented investment opportunities, strategizing the potential transaction, and completing due diligence.
Synthesize information and prepare materials for the management team, board of directors, and financial sponsors Proactively analyze and perform financial modelling of both organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions and margin-enhancing strategies, within the existing business.
Produce pro forma analysis of potential growth opportunities as requested by senior management.
Collaborate with the business development team to define and execute on existing investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the business's investments and strategic objectives.
Manage and liaise with external vendors, such as advisory firms and investment bankers, to facilitate acquisitions.
Coordinate with internal teams, including underwriting, legal, finance, closing, and asset management, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Oversee financial research and analyses to inform critical M&A decision-making processes.
Develop high-quality financial models for third-party investors using various modeling techniques.
Conduct negotiations with external parties based on predefined terms to optimize deal outcomes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Planning, Engineering, or Construction Management
Experience:
8 - 10+ years of M&A execution experience in transactions that include telecom and digital infrastructure
Demonstrated ability collaborate with all levels inside an organization (C-Level and VP/Director level)
Demonstrated ability to work through regulated companies' procedures to contract for Infrastructure services
Technical Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with solid understanding of corporate finance concepts (valuation, transaction underwriting, etc.)
Fluency in Spanish a plus
Soft Skills:
Ability to create/consult on solutions for customers needing guidance for their application landscape
Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
Organized and detail orientated
Demonstrated ability to problem solve
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel and meet clients when necessary
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 annual base + bonus potential
