Asset Management Asset Assesor

The tasks listed below represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the position as necessary.

Conducts comprehensive assessments of all assets at the wastewater treatment plant using Cityworks, including equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
Documents asset defects, failures, and maintenance requirements, and maintain accurate records in Cityworks.
Analyzes assessment data in Cityworks and Power Bi to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaborates with operations asset coordinators to make recommendations.
Collaborates with the operations and maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on assessment findings and to identify equipment trends regarding condition.
Provides technical support to the maintenance team regarding asset condition and performance.
Coordinates efforts with outside firms for additional condition assessments, as needed.
Works on incorporating new condition assessment technology into Cityworks to enhance assessment capabilities.
Prepares detailed reports and presentations on assessment findings, maintenance activities, and asset performance for management and stakeholders.
Assists in the development of asset maintenance strategies and plans based on assessment data and best practices.
Stays updated on industry best practices, standards, and technologies related to asset management and assessment.

Remains at the forefront of Cityworks software updates, new features, and best practices.
Regularly attends Cityworks user conferences, industry seminars, and training sessions.
Networks with peers and stay connected with the Cityworks user community.
Evaluates emerging trends in asset management and incorporate relevant advancements into ReWa's training programs.
Works with Cityworks support resources to ensure our organization benefits from the latest technology enhancements.

Coordinates the onboarding of new assets into Cityworks, ensuring accurate and complete data entry.
Oversees the offboarding process of assets that are no longer in use or have reached the end of their lifecycle.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date asset records in Cityworks, including asset location, condition, and status.
Collaborates with program managers and other stakeholders to optimize asset utilization and lifecycle management.
Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of asset onboarding and offboarding processes.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Requires high school or GED equivalent.
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in wastewater, manufacturing maintenance and/or wastewater operations.
Requires experience in Asset Management Systems: Cityworks preferred.
GIS knowledge to supplement AM staffing.
Requires strong internal/external customer relations skills.
Requires strong understanding of wastewater components.
