The
Area Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS)
is responsible for sales, service, and support activities for Natera's Oncology products within a temporarily assigned geography that is vacant and requires extended support.
This role involves selling the full suite of Natera Oncology products, supporting Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) or covering vacant territories, increasing revenue, and driving market development by engaging directly with individual accounts and oncology care providers.
Responsibilities include traveling to build and maintain key relationships, collaborating with customers and internal teams to address critical issues, and executing a strategic business plan to grow unit volumes.
LOCATION:
We are ideally looking for someone in Chicago, IL, however, this role will cover any open geographies within the Central Region.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop expertise in all Natera Oncology products and processes to maximize field effectiveness.
Travel to temporarily vacant territories within an Area/Region to ensure continuity of customer support and business pull-through.
Increase unit volumes in existing accounts with a strong emphasis on managing order renewals, driving draw pull-through, generating new patients with existing customers, and closing new physicians within those accounts.
Take the lead in resolving Missing Information (MI) issues while partnering with the assigned Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS) to achieve the territory's MI goals, as well as selling to, maintaining, and supporting existing customers.
Focus on pathology by obtaining alternate pathology reports, expediting block shipments, stocking kits, and providing exceptional customer service to pathology partners.
Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on customer support, logistics coordination, and problem-solving.
Foster quality client/patient relations and create a supportive environment by serving as a role model for other employees.
Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information.
Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
Follow compliance procedures and participate in compliance training.
Complete miscellaneous duties within designated time frames.
Communicate with Natera staff and customers to ensure quality service and support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or clinical support/caregiver roles, such as OCN or similar certifications.
A background in medical or biological sciences is preferred.
Must be willing to travel within the assigned Area up to 75%.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically while effectively executing tactically.
Must possess a sense of urgency and drive to succeed.
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently and maintain an internal drive for success.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers.
Effective time management skills with a proven ability to assess and prioritize tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are typically performed in a medical office or hospital setting.
This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.
75% travel required.
In addition to the base salary, we offer an uncapped commission and a car allowance.
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
