Description
MCC is currently seeking a JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER at our Springdale, AR location to work in construction on commercial and industrial properties. The journeyman plumber will assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, drainage systems, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial structures according to specifications or plumbing codes.
To perform this job successfully, the individual should know how to assemble pipe sections, tubing, use couplings, clamps, bolts, solderer, braze, or weld. A knowledge of pipe assembly installation, fittings, valves, and appliances is necessary. The individual must have attention to detail, feel comfortable operating heavy machinery, use hand and/or power tools, have good communication and organization skills, and work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
$1,000 sign-on bonus for licenses journeymen.
Location: Must be willing to commute to Springdale, AR or to relocate to the Northwest Arkansas metro.
This position is non-exempt (hourly)
Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work
