The Assoc Mgr Customer Planning & Development assists with execution of plans for assigned Strategic Commercial customers. This role works in conjunction with Sr Mgr Customer Planning & Development and Director of Sales Enablement on key strategic projects such as Top-to-Tops, Joint Growth Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews providing input as needed. Also works collaboratively with the customer engagement teams across the enterprise and provides weekly updates on customer events to senior leadership. Assist in providing thought leadership to the Commercial sales team ultimately generating demand driving end-to-end customer engagement with the top strategic customers ultimately growing our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Keep selling stories and customer engagement templates current for usage across the organization. Be the expert on assigned customers and their go to market process and guardrails. In partnership with BU strategy and Sales manager customer prioritization and segmentation. In partnership with BU strategy and Sales assist in managing customer prioritization and segmentation.

Requirements:

Education: BS or BA degree in business-related program or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
Experience: 3 plus years professional business experience; strong analytical with the ability to articulate business intelligence & insights. Retail industry experience is a plus. Person must be detail-oriented and a highly skilled project manager able to manage several projects at one time. Executive presence is essential.
Computer Skills: Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Word and Excel; Knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer Systems is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Travel: Up to 5 domestic trips per year
