Bachoco USA is seeking aProgrammer / Analyst for the Fort Smith, AR Central Offices.

Summary:
Works with assistance from Application Development Manager to determine scope and business needs to best translate those needs to new or existing applications in the most cost-efficient manner while meeting the longer-term needs of the company.
Advises IT management of issues that need to be addressed or impact the department or project.
Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, ERP configuration and enhancement of applications while assigned to a project team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Develops, maintains, configures, and enhances company business applications.
  
• Performs application system analysis.
  
• Documents application specifications and processes.
  
• Shows a positive and willing attitude in all aspects of the job.
  
• Requests project assistance when needed.
  
• Conducts group meetings or presentations within the user community.
  
• Fulfills management reporting requirements as may be requested.
  
• Functional experience in SAP environment for translating user requirements / processes into SAP process and configuration.
  
• Utilizes a variety of client/server platforms while working with client leaders and business users to identify user requirements, assess available technologies and recommend solution options.
  
• Request's training or material as appropriate in meeting the requirements of the position.
  
• Requires a flexible schedule for after-hours support and project implementation when required.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's of Science degree (B.S) or equivalent from a four-year college or university in Computer Science or a related field and one year related experience and/or training in;

• Object Orientated Programming - Delphi, C#, C++, Java
• SAP Configuration and/or integrations
• Microsoft SQL

Language Skills:
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to qualify for the company driver program.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP software, Accounting software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Design software; Development software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Payroll systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications:
Experience in programming.
Makes an effort to stay current in the computer science field.
Must have one or more year's experience at this level and has proven analytical skills before being considered for additional responsibility or promotion.
Complies with Bachoco USA policies and procedures.
